The current P3 company was founded in 2007 when we first started shooting action images at local basketball tournaments.  Asked to shoot a hockey tourney by a regular basketball client, the business quickly took a turn towards this fast paced winter sport.  ( We continue to photograph all sports.......... but hockey is our main business ).

Rick, our owner and founder, has won numerous awards for his landscape and sports photography.  He has been a photographer for over 45 years and spent his early years in the smelly darkrooms processing B&W as well as color images with Cibachrome, C-41, and E-6 chemistry.  His past clients are from all over the midwest, including Kansas City, St Louis, Rockford, IL., Chicago, and Thunder Bay Canada.

Outside of P3, he is a retired a chemical industry manager, having spent more than 45 years in that business.  He also spent many years as a successful Minnesota HS football coach.
